Rules and Regulations:  Disney On Ice: Dare to Dream! Contest

How to enter:

On Facebook.  Starting on February 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. (EST) (“Contest Starting Date”), visit www.facebook.com/pages/Together-Family/144550518888350 and coment on the Disney On Ice status with your family’s favourite Disney character. The person’s comment with the most “likes” will win four vouchers to see Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream on their choice of either Wednesday March 14 or Thursday March 15, 2012. All Facebook comments and “likes” must be made by no later than March 2, 2012 at 5:00pm (ES T) (“Contest Closing Date”).

If there are two or more comments tied for the most “likes” each of those comments will be entered into a random draw. The person behind the randomly-selected comment will win the tickets. This draw will be carried out by MIR Communications (publishers of Together Family magazine, 177 Danforth Avenue Suite 301, Toronto ON, M4K 1N2)

The contact information collected by Together Family Magazine (the “Sponsor”) will only be used to identify and contact the prize winners.  Sponsor will not use this personal information for any other reason.  Please visit www.togetherfamily.ca/privacy-policy for details.

These rules will be posted on the www.togetherfamily.ca website for the duration of the contest or can be obtained by sending a self-addressed postage stamped envelope with a request for contest details to 177 Danforth Ave., Suite 301, Toronto, Ontario M4K 1N2.

Eligibility:

The contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who the age of majority in his or her province or territory of residence as of January 1, 2012, excluding employees (and their immediate family members or persons with whom they are domiciled) of MIR Communications (Sponsor, Together Family Magazine, kidsworld Magazine), Feld Entertainment, Inc. or their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies.  If an entrant is under the age of majority, his/her parent or legal guardian must act in all regards on his/her behalf, including, if selected as a potential winner, in regard to completing the declaration and release form, answering the skill testing question and accepting the prize.

The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws, and taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winners.  Contest void where prohibited by law.

Entries (comments/likes on Facebook) must be made on www.facebook.com/pages/Together-Family/144550518888350 no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on March 2, 2012.  Sponsor shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription or registration of contest entry information, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed date transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website, inability to submit the online entry, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contests, or for lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries.  Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to exclude such person from the contest and to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Each contestant is eligible to enter one entry per day from the Contest Starting Date until the Contest Closing Date.

By entering this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

Selecting a winner:

The word “winner” means the parent or legal guardian of said winner if the winner is under the age of majority in his or her province or territory of residence.

A winner will be determined on March 3, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Sponsor located at 177 Danforth Ave, Suite 301, Toronto, Ontario, M4K 1N2, from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date.  The chances of being selected depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The judges’ decision is final.

Prize:

There is one (1) grand prize: four ticket vouchers for Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream. The winner may attend one (1) performance of their choice, on either Wednesday March 14, 2012 or Thursday March 15, 2012.

All other costs not expressly listed as part of a prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

Acceptance of Prize:

As a condition to being declared a winner and receiving a prize, the selected entrant, or if the selected entrant is a minor in their province or territory of residence, their parent or legal guardian, must correctly answer a skill-testing question by telephone or e-mail and must sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded, and acknowledging the non-responsibility of Sponsor and Feld Motor Sports, Inc. and their subsidiaries and affiliates with regard to any injury, accident, loss and/or misfortune related to any aspects of the contest or prize, and must return the declaration and release within the timeframe noted in it.

Sponsor or its appointed designee shall deliver the prize to the winner where applicable.

Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be exactly as shown.  No substitutions are available except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.  Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged in whole or in part for money.

Selected entrants will be notified via Facebook message within (2) days of the Contest Closing Date.  Selected entrants will then have two (2) days following receipt thereof to contact Sponsor to claim the prize.  Should Sponsor not receive confirmation by the date specified, or should a selected entrant be unable to correctly answer the skill-testing question or complete the declaration and release by the date specified, the selected entrant will be deemed to have forfeited any rights to the prize and a back-up entrant will be selected.

By entering the contest and accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name (first name and family initial) and age without further compensation or permission, unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend a contest in the event of any printing or administrative error.  Sponsor is not responsible for preemption, cancellation, or interruption, in whole or in part, of any Sponsor contest.

List of Winners:

The name of the prizewinner may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Together Family Magazine, 177 Danforth Avenue, Suite 301, Toronto, Ontario, M4K 1N2.
